Bad Girl

Just like all little girls, Sassy thought she might like to try some make-up. The picture was actually worse, but I had cleaned her up a little before I thought to take a picture. As I was cleaning up the bathroom, she took the opportunity to take some colored chapstick and chew on it while I was busy. She got a spanking and a lecture about no more make-up until she is 13.

Patrick's New Look

Patrick and his friends got into a mustache growing contest again. His actually doesn't look too bad this time! He said he is shaving before he comes home though- That's ok- I think he looks pretty cute either way! Aw

Just how we like it

Sassy and I went to the park this afternoon and we stopped by the dog park. We were happy to see there weren't any other doggies there because Sassy is still afraid and not good with other dogs. She had plenty of fun just running around herself!

Pretty Disturbing

Watching thousands of people walk by me at the show this last weekend, it made me pretty disturbed to see how many people in Tennessee are overweight. I would venture to guess that about 85-90% of the people that walked by were overweight and of that 85-90% I would guess that at least 60% of those people were severely obese. I was so disgusted at how fat America really has gotten! I was interested to see the actual statistics and TN is one of the top 5 in the country with 28% of adults that are obese. Coming from CO, which is one of the lowest rates of obesity, I guess I can see why I was pretty shocked at the difference here in TN. Made me just want to get on the treadmill. I don't ever want to be like that.

So where have I been?

Sorry for the absence- I was working most of the week on the Southern Women's Show- I had a booth there for the business. I think I will get a lot of clients from it- but it is hard to tell at this point. I handed out a lot of information and spoke to a lot of people who were interested in what I do, but the hard part now is just waiting to see how many of them will actually call me! It is pretty difficult to do a 12 hour a day show for 4 days in a row by yourself. I am exhausted, but I hope it is all worth it in the end. I met a lot of nice people and had fun messing around with the lady in the booth next to me. Now all that is left is to create my email database with all 300+ names that I collected.... anyone need a job as my assistant? :)

Chefology week returns!

Chefology week returns to Food Network! Tonight they premiered the story of Julia Child, the mother of all cooking shows. It was so interesting! She used to be a spy you know.... They will be replaying it I'm sure, so catch it if you get a chance.

Out for a ride

Sassy and I went on a bike ride today down the trail by the Cumberland River. It was a beautiful day and there were lots of people out and about. We even ran into a guy who was catching snakes! He was holding this huge snake and he was bleeding where the snake had bit him! I was all freaked out, but he didn't care- he said it happens all the time. I guess there is a big group of people who catch snakes to take them across the road so they won't get hit by cars when they try to cross. Hmm... interesting hobby- Hey wait! Why did the snake cross the road? hehe

Here we go!

I finally up some picture updates! Please see the following....

My favorite girl

Sadie and Sarah came to visit last week. I had such a wonderful time with them- as always. Sadie played plenty of Guitar Hero, because she wanted "To Rock!" Amazingly enough- she was AMAZING at the game (despite her guitar not even being hooked up). She has turned into more of a little girl and not so much my baby anymore. It is amazing how fast time goes when you have children as a measuring stick. I sound old when I say that- but I don't care. I am finally getting why Aunts and old ladies always say that to you! Seeing Sadie not being a baby anymore makes me really excited for little baby Connor (coming in June) and of course Baby Nephew! (coming in May).

Sadie and I "Rocking!" on Guitar Hero.

(Not so) Little Ali

Many of you probably remember little Ali (also known as baby Jesus from the Christmas cards)from some past posts- She is the daughter of Gary and Kayla who are friends of ours from the Army. Kayla and Ali came to visit us a few weeks ago and I didn't remember I had these pictures until I downloaded from the camera. She is such a sweet baby and I had a wonderful time with her and Kayla.

What's your life expectancy?

Go to WWW.BLUEZONES.COM to take the vitality survey. See what your life expectancy is! NO CHEATING!

My real body age is 23.7- not bad considering I am 27
Life expectancy is 93.5
Healthy life expectancy is 79.8

I can add 4.4 years to my healthy life if I reduce my stress and alcohol intake. I could do without the stress that's for sure!

Sorry no posts for awhile

Sorry everyone for not posting in awhile. I have some cute pictures to put up too of my visit with Sarah and Sadie. I will get around to it very soon I promise. Don't give up on me!
