How I spent my morning

I sat on the freeway today for 2 hours and went 7 miles. You would think for an accident that had apparently happened 8 hours prior to this they might warn you not to get on the highway. Nope, just let all us poor fools back up and up and up. Traffic sucks, but at least I wasn't the one in the wreck.

Stupid movies that make you cry

Yeah, this is mine. Not sure why, but each time I have seen it I have cried through like the whole thing- pretty ridiculous. I think it might be because the dad in the movie (John Goodman) reminds me of my own dad- I don't know.
I do know I'm not the only one that cries at stupid movies- so what's yours?

Best gift ever!

For my birthday Mom and Dad got me a navigation system for the car. I cannot tell you how this thing has changed my life! I was always so lost before that even with directions, I would often get frustrated not being able to find my way and just turn around and go home.
I use my new navigator almost everyday and I absolutely love that I can go anywhere I want- even at night without fearing that I will end up in some other state! I used it today to get me to two different places in downtown Nashville and the amount of stress this things has taken off of me is immeasurable! It was really one of the best gifts I have ever received and I highly recommend it to anyone who is direction-less! Thanks again Dad for the great idea on the gift! You're the best!

Savvy Style

I started seriously working today on my business "Savvy Style" a stylist/personal shopping firm. I have been wanting to start my own business for about a year, but haven't had the courage to do it yet- until now that is. Sometimes being miserable at a job you don't like motivates you to do something you do like! There isn't anything like it here in Nashville, so hopefully I will have a little success. Wish me luck- maybe I'll be busy enough to be self employed very soon!

A little sad

Work is getting me down again. I'm feeling a little unloved and useless. Any nice thoughts would be appreciated.

A look back

I found a CD of pictures that Jackie had made us of our wedding reception while I was cleaning the other day. I uploaded them onto my Iphoto and was able to look at them all again. I really enjoyed looking through all of them again and re-living the night. It really was the best party every and I will be forever thankful for all those who had a part in it. Here is one of my favorite pictures.
