White Christmas

I had a really fun evening tonight. I had a long day at work and was pretty tired by the time I got home. I wasn't really feeling up for much- so my roomate and I decided to have a fun night in- so we got some Taco Bell and rented White Christmas. I thought I had seen it before, but it wasn't the movie I was remembering-I think the movie I was thinking of was "Holiday Inn". Anyway, it was a great movie and we had a great time. I reccommend it for anyone needing to get in the Christmas spirit!

I believe that "Holiday Inn" was the original name of the movie. It became "White Christmas" as the song and Bing Crosby made it famous. And yes, we also watched it the other night, probably my favorite Christmas movie, next to TV's "Charley Brown Christmas" and "The Grinch".
By the way Nancy, I am sitting here at the computer, eating some fresh made potica, gift of Karen Helton, who's sister made your wedding cake, and I must say, "It is the BEST I have ever had!!!!"
And since this is the eve of "Nancy's Birthday" may I also say, Happy Birthday Sweetie, and if my math is right, you must be about 17 years old now. Not a typpo, I do mean 17!!
Talk to you tomorrow, but want to wish you your HAPPIEST year ever!
Love,
Mom

Just had to write one more comment...
27 years ago right now, I was in labor with you. We were watching Johnny Carson on TV and I didn't want to go to the hospital until after midnight (didn't want to get charged for a full day). Finally, the clock struck 12:00, we headed into town to the hospital and you were born at 1:31. Fast and furious. Guess that still applies.
Love,
Mom

So what happened to the Holiday Inn song? Leave your cares down the stairs come to Holiday Inn. Happy holidays happy holiday while the merry bells are ringing happy holidays to you. I love that song- though White Christmas is nice too.
Yes I must only be 17 because if I were really 27 how old would that make you! Hehehe.
Save me some Potica!!!
Thank you for the nice words on my birthday!

The Holiday Inn song went out in a gift box, set off the alarm system and was seen to have a coupon dangling out the back.
