Night on the boat

Last night my ladies social group went on the General Jackson boat. A radio station was doing a special promotion, so we got to ride for only $10! It was a beautiful night and the weather couldn't have been better. I ended up meeting an Elvis impersonator and giving him career advice- (don't ask how I get in these situations- it just seems to happen!) I had lots of fun with the ladies I went with and was sad when it was time for the cruise to end.

I have been on the General Jackson!! I went when I was 10 with my grandparents. It was the first time I had ever been on a boat. That's awesome Nancy!

Career Advice to an Elvis Impersonator; Don't wear your Blue Suede Shoes to the first interview?

Glad you had fun. Great photo, too.

Did the Elvis impersonator look anything like Kurt Russell?

Are you sure it wasn't the real Elvis? Think he was spotted in the Nashville area not too long ago.

I am like the others, what kind of advice do you give to "The King"? Don't wear white jumpsuits...they will come back to haunt you for years to come.

The General Jackson cruise is one thing you could do every single day and not get tired of it. Remember the blue herons that followed us along the river. Awesome.

No, elvis impersonator didn't look like Kurt Russell- I kinda wish he did!
I told him that the Elvis thing was "dead" and that he should move on to Johnny Cash- you know, someone more "lively".
